CEA Saclay International Office


In order to better serve CEA Saclay’s international community, an International Office was opened on January 1st, 2012. A multilingual staff is readily available to assist its foreign scientists and students through immigration procedures and to aid them in their immersion in the local area.



The IO provides information on a wide range of topics, including :

  • immigration issues such as visas and residence permits,
  • administrative procedures,
  • housing around Saclay and Paris,
  • the French Social Security System,
  • childcare and schools

A complete website coming soon

A complete website will soon be available to provide international scientists and students with useful information to prepare for their stay in France. This site will provide access to a wide range of information such as housing, immigration, public transportation, health insurance etc., as well as helpful pointers on French culture and events around Saclay and Paris.

The IO is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 to 12 AM and from 2 to 5 PM.
